The Flying Obersons (a.k.a. TFO, The Flying O’s) are a talented group of seasoned musicians based out of the northern New Jersey/New York, Bergen/Rockland Counties. What makes TFO Entertainment group unique is their flexibility to adapt and win over any given crowd regardless of venue size or audience age.
The Flying Obersons objective is to always please their audience/customers/fans by offering their clientele a wide variety of musical selections from the 60’s,70’s,& 80’s through the present along with a full mix of optional genres to suit nearly any occasion. Known for their extensive collection of classic rock material, they pride themselves on performing many songs that have been all but forgotten by most cover bands and set themselves apart from other groups by having four established lead vocalists with the ability to cover all vocal ranges with harmonies.
Founding member Rick Oberson is responsible for booking gigs and can easily tailor the performance size to meet any request from a solo guitarist, pianist or keyboard act right on up to a full blown seven man or more ensemble with a strong rhythm quartet complimented by a tight horn section that is second to none.

Wow that was strange. I just wrote an very long comment but after I clicked submit my comment didn’t appear.
Grrrr… well I’m not writing all that over again. Anyway, just wanted to
say great blog!
Hi Claudette. I’ll include you on our mailing list for out monthly updates. Another way is to visit and follow our Facebook page. Tx See you soon we hope.
You guys ROCK!! Had a blast at Rhodes last weekend and you were also awesome last night at Emerson Hotel. I’m Donna Gebbia, (aka: MellowDee), the keyboard player who requested “Beginnings,” (amazing!), and I’m also the one that annoyed you about Billy Joel’s “Zanzibar”…you guys would kick ass on that song!
Not being presumptuous…. just wanna make it as easy as possible for you! 😉
Donna. Thanks for your praise and all the links too! Love your feedback. I’m sure we’ll be adding this to the list soon. I used to play this with my old band “Courtney” back when this first came out around ’78. Thanks again and we’ll look for you soon. We’ll probably add this by our show @ Torne Valley Vineyards on 8/4 Friday Night 7:30 pm. Best Rick
Paul Davis is one of the most talented musician and teacher that I have ever had the privilege to work with. He made tone deaf high school kids sing their butts off and is now doing incredible things with young children. They seem to be way ahead of schedule for their age as vocalists. I know that comes from his incredible tuttilige and ability to get the best out of people. I haven’t had the chance to see you guys live yet. Only videos. With Paul and Greg on your side I’m sure you guys are killing it. Hopefully I’ll get to see you soon if you’re up in orange county.
Sean Thanks for the comment. I agree with you wholeheartedly. Paul and Gregg as well of the rest of the TFO band do a very good job in complimenting each other well. It does seem very natural to us. I hope you’ll come and see us soon. We just booked the Quartet @ Palaia for May 18,2019. I can add you to our monthly Wee Mail so you can stay up on shows and news about us. Thanks again. Rick Oberson
Wow! This blog looks exactly like my old one!
It’s on a totally different subject but it has pretty much the same page layout and design. Outstanding choice of colors!
Saved as a favorite, I like your website!
Thanks for visiting.
