International jazz trombone virtuoso Bob Ferrel has toured world-wide with the legendary Duke Ellington Orchestra, conducted by Mercer Ellington, backing up such great singers as Sarah Vaughn, Ella Fitzgerald and Johnny Hartman.
Bob also toured for 6 years with Southside Johnny and the Jukes, which included guest artists Bruce Springsteen and Jon Bon Jovi. As Music Director, Bob led the Spirit of Life Ensemble for 8 years touring in the US and internationally with jazz legends Ted Curson and Joe Lee Wilson. The Bob Ferrel Quartet currently has 3 CDs: “Time Tunnel”, “Bon Voyage”, and the most recent CD “Face to Face” featuring Charles Mingus alumni Ted Curson.
